Coed Glas receives strong praise in ESTYN REPORT




A recent ESTYN report following an inspection in the latter end of 2008 at Coed Glas Primary School has heaped praise on the school for its "many outstanding features" and was also described as "totally inclusive offering outstanding support and guidance to all in its care"...

"At Coed Glas Primary School we recognise the importance of preparing our children with the ICT knowledge, skills and confidence to take their place in a rapidly developing technological world".

Our vision at Coed Glas Primary School is to provide a school
where the children, parents, staff, governors and community
work together to offer a welcoming, caring, stimulating
and safe environment for every individual.

We endeavour to celebrate all our achievements together,
as a whole school community, each person being
valued and respected.

The Year 6 Leavers T-Shirts have now arrived. They will be available to view and purchase on Friday 18th June, before school from 8.45am-9am and again after school from 3.30pm to 4pm. Alternatively you can send money into school with your child in an envelope marked ‘Leavers T-Shirt’ along with their name and class.

The T-shirts will cost £6.00 each. The P.T.A. is subsidising the cost by £1.00 each.
The front of the T-shirt has been printed with the school name, logo, year and a list of the children and teachers in the Year 6 classes. The back of the T-shirt has been left blank for the children to sign their names.

We hope you agree that these T-shirts will be a great reminder for the children of their time at Coed Glas, and thank you for your support.



Mr Chin will be running the brand spokingly new Year 6 club on Wednesdays!
